According to the European Environment Agency, it is the 4th most harmful industry for the environment, producing as many greenhouse gases as air and maritime transport combined, with more than 3.3 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases emitted annually (i.e. 6 to 9% of global greenhouse gas emissions).

This led us to look for low-carbon materials to make our eco-responsible sneakers. We then naturally turned to plant-based materials as alternatives to leather, which emit on average almost 90% less CO2 emissions.

Among the possible options, we looked for the one that we thought offered the best ratio between the quantity of natural materials, the appearance and the durability in order to offer you vegan, ecological, chic and sustainable sneakers.

Each pair of personalized Mood Walk sneakers is the result of long, meticulous work .

It all starts with a first drawing illustrating a shape, an idea. Using specialized software, we work on this drawing in depth until we have a very precise vision of the design of our personalized sneakers.

Next comes the materials stage . We make sure that our women's sneakers are ethical and eco-responsible. This is why we choose low-carbon components such as cotton, recycled rubber or corn leather, which is durable and comfortable but above all ecological.

We then call on a last maker to adapt the shape of our ethical sneakers to make them as comfortable to wear as possible and to offer them in all sizes.

It is from this stage that the pattern is made. This consists of creating a molded shell on which all the elements constituting the Mood Walk women's sneakers are added.

The pattern pieces must then be assembled and shaped so that the textiles take the desired shape.

After long hours of work, we add the sole to our custom sneakers.

But it's not over yet. Time to check our ethical sneakers! We take the time to observe every detail and make sure everything is perfect.

We were looking for a model name that starts with M for our personalized sneakers ideally in 2 words like our brand name Mood Walk and like our baseline Meaning by Walking.

Why a name in M? Because the differentiating element of our chic and trendy Velcro sneakers beyond the message is this M on the side of the sneaker which takes the shape of our monogram and our logo.

Master Mind or mastermind is a game of reflection and deduction whose goal is to find a code. This idea of ​​code made us think of the messages of our personalized sneakers and we found the name Master Mind completely in line with the feel good and committed messages of our women's sneakers.

The aim of eco-responsible sneakers is to be part of an ecological approach that allows us to release less CO2 into the atmosphere and limit our impact on the environment .

Several criteria are taken into account such as the composition , the place of production or the chosen logistics.

However, not all eco-friendly sneakers are necessarily vegan . Indeed, vegan sneakers must not contain any material of animal origin. However, this criterion is not mandatory for eco-friendly sneakers.

At Mood Walk, we decided to combine the two: we created vegan and eco-responsible sneakers by choosing a non-food corn leather material from agriculture, thus preserving our natural resources, the environment and animal welfare.
