The genesis of our customizable sneakers

Mood Walk was born from the desire to have strong, feel-good messages on our customized sneakers to give purpose to our day.

An absolute shoe fan, I gradually abandoned heels and wore more and more sneakers. But they lacked an important dimension in my eyes: meaning! In my opinion, dressing is expressing yourself and asserting yourself with clothes that reflect your values ​​and give you confidence. I was looking for customized sneakers for women that would spark a conversation and be in harmony with my personality by displaying messages that resemble me. 

As men are also asking us for sneakers, we decided to launch a men's range with new colors and other customization options.

The solution: eco-friendly vegan sneakers with messages that convey your ideas!

To better express your individuality, I wanted these messages to be removable to better adapt them to your state of mind. We are all plural, we do not want to display the same messages every day on our sneakers.

Since I couldn't find a shoe that fit me, I decided to create the personalized sneakers of my dreams that combine commitment and style.

  • Finally, it was important to me that the sale of these ethical sneakers had a positive impact by supporting an association dedicated to one of the most beautiful causes in my eyes, the education of girls because it is the prerequisite for them to become free and fulfilled women.

  • Eco-friendly, our sneakers are made in the best possible conditions for the planet and men with materials generating a minimum of CO2. Concerned about our environmental impact, I chose to manufacture our sneakers for men and women in Portugal, by partnering with local artisans, so that like the message, they are in line with my convictions.

The first steps

After many years in consulting and insurance, creating eco-friendly and customizable sneakers was a complete change of career for me.

I trained in fashion. I discovered the many steps needed to make custom vegan sneakers.

And above all, I surrounded myself with people who were competent in graphic design, design of trendy women's sneakers and content creation.

Mood Walk is a collective adventure that would not have seen the light of day without all this support.

Our ambition is to regularly offer you new messages to give you more choices and better reflect your personality. And we intend to allow you one day to create your own messages with a different sneaker design. Our sneakers will always be eco-friendly but with even more customization possibilities.
