Step 1: Cutting out the pieces that make up your pair of eco-friendly women's sneakers.
Our eco-friendly Mood Walk sneakers are made in a family workshop in Portugal. It all starts with cutting. During this first step, the cutter gathers all the pieces of the pattern in order to cut them out. He does this either with a die cutter or with a laser machine.
Step 2: Assembling or stitching your eco-friendly women's sneakers
It is during the assembly stage, or stitching, that the different parts of your pair of eco-friendly sneakers are sewn together: the upper, that is to say the upper part of your pair of eco-friendly sneakers, and the heel are then joined together. Your eco-friendly sneakers are already starting to take life and shape.
Step 3: Mounting the eco-friendly sneakers on the plastic “form”
The workers place each pair of eco-friendly sneakers previously assembled on a plastic “form”. The machines, guided by our workers, shape the shoes on this plastic “form” to give them their final shape and aesthetic.
Step 4: Soling the eco-friendly sneakers for women
This step consists of assembling the upper with the outsole. There are different sole-bonding techniques. We have chosen to glue the sole and then sew it with a Strebel stitch, thus guaranteeing greater robustness to your eco-friendly women's sneakers . Made from 20% recycled rubber, Mood Walk soles offer comfort and flexibility to your foot.
Step 5: Finishing your eco-friendly sneakers
The last step before boxing your eco-friendly sneakers is to review the last details to make sure everything is perfect. We cut the last excess threads, remove the excess fabric and add the laces. It is also during this step that the workers remove the plastic “forms” from the eco-friendly sneakers . Your Mood Walk eco-friendly sneakers are finally ready to be sent!
